About Snapshot
Hi, I’m Nev.
I’m an educator and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in English language teaching and teacher training. I created and now manage an international TEFL/TESOL certification course program that has supported teachers working across Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
Outside of education, I write about walking historic routes, exploring global destinations, language, and the reflective side of travel. This brings together those threads — professional, personal, and philosophical.
What You’ll Find Here
This is not a high-frequency blog.
My work in international education and ongoing travel commitments mean I don’t publish on a fixed schedule — and I don’t intend to. I write when there is something useful, reflective, or worth sharing.
Some posts emerge from long-distance walking. Others from university cities, border crossings, volunteering, classrooms, or conversations that linger longer than expected.
I am about to begin a Camino walk from Andalusia to Galicia. If time and circumstances allow, I hope to share reflections along the way.
If not, I will commit proper time to a considered write-up once the walk is complete.
This site is not about constant updates.
It is about considered ones.
And when the moment is right, I will write.
